生活型

形態特徵

Shrubs to 1 m tall; stems branched, lower parts terete, glabrous; upper parts subquadrangular, moderately hirsute.
Leaves chartaceous, oblong-lanceolate, 6–15 cm long, 2–5 cm wide, apex acuminate, base gradually narrowed, margins obscurely or shallowly serrate, nearly glabrous; petiole short, somewhat hirsute.
Flowers sessile, 3 or more crowded in cymules, axillary or terminal; peduncles to 8 cm long, rarely branched; bracts concave, caducous, outermost pair lanceolate, ca. 1.5 cm long, nearly glabrous, inner bracts 4 or more, ovate to oblong-lanceolate, ca. 1 cm long, slightly ciliate; calyx to 1 cm long, segments linear, densely glandular hairy; corolla 3–4 cm long, glandular-puberulent outside; stamens included, filaments glabrous, anthers broadly triangular-cordate; ovary ovoid-cylindric; style to 3.5 cm long, with few glandular hairs.
Capsule spatulate-ellipsoid; seeds 4, ovoid, compressed, ca. 4 mm long, 3 mm wide, appressed villous.

分布

台灣 : in the center and south from low to medium (ca. 1,200 m) elevations.
世界 : India, Nepal, Bhutan, Vietnam and southwestern China.
